If you’re a bodybuilder, chances are you may have considered post cycle therapy as a way to bulk up, build energy, and boost testosterone. These are critical to optimal performance. But did you know that enclomiphene can help with post cycle therapy?

Many bodybuilders turn to anabolic steroids to bulk up and get the toned body they desire. Performance enhancing drugs are essentially anabolic steroids that athletes use to build muscle and increase strength. Many men may hope that they can get perfectly sculpted physiques, like those of bodybuilders, but that unfortunately is not possible through training alone.

What is Post Cycle Therapy?

Men who take exogenous testosterone or anabolic steroids may find that their natural testosterone levels decrease, because they are getting copious amounts of testosterone through the testosterone supplements they are taking. Steroids come with many side effects, and experts recommend not taking them on a regular basis.

When you stop taking steroids, your body’s natural testosterone is lower and not as potent as it would normally be. To avoid this problem, many men take steroids in cycles to avoid “building a tolerance.” This also gives the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis (HPTA) the ability to increase testosterone production after a man uses a steroid.

Post cycle therapy or PCT is a process men use to replenish their natural testosterone back to normal levels after testosterone has been “suppressed” during a steroid cycle or SERM. Enclomiphene is one of the best treatments for post cycle therapy, and many male bodybuilders see that.

There are a number of SERMS men can take for post cycle therapy. These include Tamoxifen (Nolvadex), Toremifene, and enclomiphene. All of these have benefits. Tamoxifen is known to be one of the safest SERMs on the market, and has been safely used for more than 60 years. Toremifene is thought to be safer than other options. However, not everyone is so sure of that.

But what about enclomiphene? Enclomiphene is popular and is similar to other drugs of its kind. However, it has gotten a bad rap, because of its ability to cause flashes, blurry vision, and visual spots, according to Science Direct

Experts still don’t know what the ideal dosage of enclomiphene is, but most studies agree that doses as low as 12.5 milligrams and doses as high as 25 milligrams are sufficient enough to produce the results men desire. Enclomiphene is an isomer. As a SERM, enclomiphene is known to have positive effects on testosterone. However, it can also lead to mood problems, and in some cases, depression, experts say.

Enclomiphene negates the body’s need for HCG after a cycle has been completed. Studies have found that enclomiphene increases the body’s secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH). Because of this increase in LH, the body no longer requires HCG

How long does enclomiphene take to work if you are taking it for post cycle therapy? According to PubMed, men who take enclomiphene typically have low testosterone levels to start, but most men see a significant increase after two weeks of starting treatment. One single-blind study that included 48 men found that enclomiphene increases serum testosterone levels to normal. In some cases, LH and FSH levels were increased. However, these levels returned to below average levels upon stopping treatment.

Enclomiphene is one of the most highly preferred and suggested drugs for use during post cycle therapy. Enclomiphene is helpful in many ways, especially when you are a bodybuilder. Enclomiphene is especially recommended for post cycle therapy, because it helps restore HPTA functions, while restoring levels to normal.

Using enclomiphene is essential if you want to be successful after you complete a cycle. Enclomiphene does not produce some of the estrogenic side effects of other SERM medications. Enclomiphene triggers the body to release luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). When this happens, the testes are triggered to produce testosterone.

Enclomiphene bonds with the body’s estrogen receptors and keeps estrogen from bonding with them. Enclomiphene “antagonizes” negative feedback on gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). Most bodybuilders know this.

When you take exogenous testosterone injections and similar steroids, natural testosterone is diminished to the point that LH and FSH are “suppressed,” according to Indy Health. Using enclomiphene for post cycle therapy for long periods of time can lead to problems, such as hypogonadism or testosterone suppression.

After you complete a cycle, you need to note a rise in estrogen levels, as HPTA shuts down. During this time period, it is necessary to take HCG. Many people do this to trigger the body to produce luteinizing hormone or LH. You may also need to take a SERM like Nolvadex to control the body’s production of estrogen.

You can take enclomiphene outside of a cycle of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), if you’d like. However, it is important to start treatment at the lowest possible dose. Taking the lowest possible dose is fine, as long as it produces your desired results. Most people take a dose of three milligrams every day or 6.25 milligrams every other day.

Make sure the dose isn’t too high, as this can throw off estrogen signaling. It is important to make sure that higher levels of estradiol make up for estrogen receptor blocking caused by enclomiphene. Some say that SERM medications are not effective in accomplishing a bodybuilder’s goals, but this couldn’t be further from the truth.

According to experts, enclomiphene is effective in treating hypogonadism, so it obviously has a positive impact on testosterone, and consequently, on endurance as well. The use of any testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) will deactivate HPTA and cause hormones to be suppressed. There is a misconception by bodybuilders that natural testosterone production does not matter.

Many think that supplementing exogenous testosterone is enough. Testosterone most often shuts down when androgens increase in the blood. The presence of prolactin, another hormone, can cause low testosterone in men. Because of this, it is important to ensure that things remain in balance.

The good thing about enclomiphene is the fact that it has fewer side effects than other medications. Plus, it is a good choice for individuals who take PCT alongside HCG. Enclomiphene can also be used as a long-term monotherapy.

If you take enclomiphene, you don’t necessarily need HCG. If you are taking enclomiphene for post cycle therapy, it is important to be aware of a few things. First of all, you should start your day by taking a dose of enclomiphene. If you want your testosterone levels to drop only moderately, you should take 50 milligrams of enclomiphene.

If you feel a “severe drop,” you should take 100 milligrams of enclomiphene per day. Some people choose to split doses in half and take half in the afternoon and half in the morning.

What happens during post cycle therapy? According to experts, post cycle therapy helps speed up the rate at which testosterone levels return to normal. When you stop taking steroids, your body’s production of hormones is decreased. However, it is important to ask yourself a few questions. When is the best time to start post cycle therapy with enclomiphene?

According to health experts, you should start a new PCT after you end a cycle. If you are trying to plan out cycles, you should meet with your doctor. He or she can monitor your progress and lay out a treatment plan that works for you and meets your needs. But why is enclomiphene useful in post cycle therapy?

Experts agree that using enclomiphene in post cycle therapy helps restore “baseline testosterone levels.” TRT and anabolic steroids affect a man’s hormone levels and fertility, so the use of a SERM medication like enclomiphene is crucial to a man’s health after the completion of a cycle.

PCT is usually carried out after stopping anabolic steroids, and you can use any drug combination to carry out post cycle therapy. If you are taking 25 milligrams of enclomiphene, you will find that serum testosterone levels increase. Men with hypogonadism benefit greatly from enclomiphene, because it increases testosterone to the point that their bodies perform at peak capacity.

Although enclomiphene produces many benefits with PCT, it also comes with side effects. Men who take it for post cycle therapy may develop acne, an increased sex drive, and potentially, a temper.

Many people say enclomiphene is the best SERM on the market. An FDA advisory committee thought that enclomiphene may have a slightly higher risk of causing problems. Because it raises LH and FSH, they did not feel that it helped with testosterone levels. However, it remains highly effective in post cycle therapy.

The dosage of enclomiphene that you take will ultimately depend upon whether you are using it during a cycle or as a PCT. While some people take enclomiphene twice per day, it is generally recommended that you take it in the morning. Some people believe that taking enclomiphene before bed will help them sleep better. However, this has not been proven.

Taking enclomiphene in the morning may work for some people, while others may benefit more by taking it at night. Ultimately, it depends on the results you desire.
