This Phase 2 HCG diet recipe for cabbage salad is a great snack on the diet, and if you find that you are getting extremely hungry during the day even when you are taking the injections on time, you should try to increase your vegetable intake to see if it helps. This recipe is a great way to stay full during the day, and since it doesn't use any of your protein servings you will still have two of them left for the rest of the day. This recipe makes about 8 cups of cabbage salad or roughly 4 HCG diet vegetable servings.
Anytime you feel that the diet is too difficult you should increase your vegetable intake, while trying to stay within the calorie limit. Most of the time you can increase your vegetable servings and even if you go a little bit above the 500 daily calorie limit it can be a great help for you to get through the challenging parts of Phase 2.
You can expect to spend about 15 to 20 minutes to prepare this salad, and it makes a very large portion of salad that you can use for more than one day. Cabbage is a low calorie HCG diet vegetable so you can be pretty generous with it, and this salad is also a great side dish to your HCG diet proteins and can even work as a breakfast. These ingredients have all been approved for use on the diet, but if you want to add other herbs or spices that are approved on the diet feel free, and you can increase the portion sizes fairly easily as well.
