You have successfully lost weight during Phase Two of the hCG diet and now it is time to start the crucial three-week Phase Three segment of the protocol. Often referred to as the ‘maintenance phase,’ Phase 3 is when you learn to support your weight loss and avoid regaining the pounds you shed. It is not unusual to feel uneasy about the transition to this final stage of the dietary plan. You will be eating more calories and foods then you did during Phase Two, so you will be concerned about weight gain. However, there is no need to worry if you follow the basic guidelines. Phase Three starts right after you cease Phase Two of the hCG diet. Resistance training is an aggressive exercise regime that is often a wonderful choice to help you support not only your weight but also your health.
