When it comes to going through the hCG diet and enjoying the rapid success that comes with this wonderful program, nothing feels worse than the feeling that overcomes us whenever we cheat.  The truth of the matter is that although cheating isn't allowed on the hCG diet,  the effects of a cheat meal can be reversed  (as long as it only happens once or twice.).  But as we all know, the best way to avoid the effects of cheating is to avoid cheating in the first place.  In the following post, we're going to take a look at a few simple tips that can help you avoid cheating at parties and events.

Schedule You Meals

Just like everything else in life, timing is key when it comes to the hCG diet.  One of the reasons why cheating happens while on the hCG diet (or any diet, for that matter.) is because we are ill prepared when presented with tempting meals.  Something that works very well is to make sure that your event falls right after a meal, and if possible, in between meals.  Going to a place where there is going to be an abundance of tempting foods, on an empty stomach can be a huge mistake.  If there's conflict between the event and your meal, adjust your eating schedule around the event in order to keep hunger away.

Go For The Salad..

If you find yourself in a situation where you are forced to eat at the event, then always look for the salad.  Most salads are lettuce based, which are part of the  hCG diet food list.  Since mixing vegetables is prohibited on the program, it is important top make sure to only eat the lettuce.  Treat this meal as a snack to hold you over until you can actually get a hold of your hCG diet meal.  This may seem like a tough thing to do, but as you go through the program you will notice that as the days go by, your will power and discipline will strengthen to the point where following the hCG diet becomes second nature.
