Cloud Bread for Phase 3
Bread? On Ph3?
With an unexpected mix of ingredients, this unique concoction is guaranteed to have your taste buds pleasantly surprised, and may also help you get in your protein requirements for the day! This bread is great for dipping, salads, or even sandwich bread. Feel free to add a fruit or spice, and get creative!
- 3 oz. light or fat free cream cheese (cold)
- 3 large eggs
- Pinch of Cream of Tartar
Preheat oven to 300 °F.
Separate the eggs, and add cream cheese to the yolks.
Mix with electric mixer.
In another bowl, add cream of tartar to egg whites and beat.
Add the egg yolk mixture into the white mixture.
Be careful not to break down egg whites, but still mix well.
Spoon mixture onto greased or lined cookie sheet.
Pour into small circles or one flat sheet on the pan.
(We made one large sheet for this one and tore into pieces).
Bake for 15-30 minutes or until golden brown.
(Cooking time may be shorter for a thin layer).
Place on cooling rack.
