26 V. 46 day regime

Hello. I just finished a round of HCG and because I didn't have a huge amount of weight to lose and because I'd never tried it before, I began with the 26 day plan and started this with a physician. I then decided I'd like to continue the injections for the full 40+ days because I've had success and feel the program is safe and I feel energetic. I ordered the injections from Nu Image and they are on the way. However, here is my question/dilema: I wasn't super fast at getting the new round ordered so I will be without the injections for a total of 4 days by the time the new round arrives in the mail. Should I just try to stick to the protocol of 500 Calories during those 4 days or use them as load days (3 days) as I did prior to the 26 day plan? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Meal Delivery

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has tried the Meal Delivery service. I tried it last year when I did a round and absolutely loved it. I thought there would be some people posting on here about it. I would love to hear what other people thought about it. Thanks!

finished round 1 question about phase 3

Hi, I did fabulous on round 1- I stopped at 23 days(last day Monday this week). because I am going away to Disney the end of the month and wanted to be through phase 3 before I go which seemed easier for my trip to Disney world! I lost 16 lbs and 20.5 inches (I measured on Saturday so not at end of round 1). and that is why they say pounds and inches!! So my question for phase 3 are you allowed to have eggs? I truly miss my omelet (veggies with no cheese) on the weekends! I also loved packing a hard boiled egg for a high protein snack during the day sometimes. I get fresh eggs from my free range chickens and they are fed very well ....I just don't see anything about them unless I missed it in the ebook. In the e-book it says maintenance calories 800. Is that the total for the day or a minimum amount? My goal this time with my Hcg is to really stick with the plan /guidelines for Phase 3... in the past I did some cheating, indulging and I am thinking that is why I put half of my weight loss back on over a year.... thanks so much Sue

Food questions!

Hi! We are on day five and have been eating carrots raw as a veggie. I just saw it is not a listed one?! How bad is that? Also, made the Taco Salad recipe from the on line book and it had both onions and lettuce. I thought the breakdown said not to mix veggies? Am I over thinking this lol?! Help!

My friend does a different regimen - has a cheat day

My friend has done this a couple different times. She originally lost 70 lbs and has gained back 25 so she is now doing it again. She originally got the product from a dr. in Texas and he had her not taking the shots on the 7th day thus creating a "cheat" day - of sorts. She can't go overboard, but can have a beer or a potato or something not on the plan. This plan has you taking the shots the whole way through. Can I do the "cheat" day regimen instead? Confused

Progress towards Success 1st day

Hello everyone! I have never blogged before nor planned to before entering the HCG program. I feel inclined to track my progress because of my individual circumstances. Here goes! I am a 55 year old female going through menopause, and way too overweight. I weighed myself this morning (195 lbs) with a big fat sigh. At 5'7" that is considered obese, and I agree. To my defense though, even when I was in the best shape of my life, I have always weighed more than the average female. I attribute this difference to my body type and being athletic all my life. So in the last ten years I have been going through the next phase of my life, menopause. Another big sigh. Man did us females get dealt a crappy hand; whatever, try to work with what ya got. I find that what it takes to get in better shape at this age is a uphill battle. On my own I went down from 199lbs to 192, which isn't a lot; but, it gave me hope that it can be done. I ran into a snag because I developed water on the knee from a old injury and had to stop my morning exercise routine for a while til I recovered. I was searching for new ways to aid in weight management when I started reading about all the good info out there on HCG. If you are reading this than you have already learned a great deal about the program and are exploring on whether to try it or not. I made the conscientious decision and took the plunge (believe me I did my research first) to purchase the product and to follow the strict diet regime. I ordered the 46 day program because of the amount of weight I have to lose, and because of the discipline that I know that I have to follow orders. I thought about it this way: hmmm, look how long (years) it took to accumulate the extra pounds; and the program I chose takes only 43 DAYS of VLCD, and maintenance afterwards. Lets be truthful here, it will be a lifetime of maintenance if I never want to see myself look this way again. Really my goal here is to feel better, look better, and have a better outlook on the future me. So I could fill you in on what, when, and how much, I ate today but I'm sure if you read the instructions that's all self explanatory. I will say I was very skeptical about getting the shots because I have never given myself a shot nor thought I would ever need to. Once I realized that it's the size of needle that a diabetic uses to administer their daily insulin, I calmed down. I freaked myself out way too much about that part, REALLY. I ordered the materials on a Sunday, got a call on Monday for approval, and received the package by Tuesday mid-morning. First shot (with the B12 to increase my energy level) and I felt a gigantic boost of vitality in my morning routine. I'm on my way to a better me with really positive thoughts. I will try to write about my daily progress on here with hope that it will help other females with similar circumstances reach their goal the same way that I have chosen. I know this is a long post but I couldn't find that much written testimony on this site that is tailored to my situation. If I can reach one person with what I am honestly swearing to in this journey, then I will have accomplished the purpose of writing down my thoughts. I will definitely post good and not so good results as they come to light. Thank you for reading and make your own wise decisions; at this age at least you have the wisdom to decide what options there are for the crossroads you encounter in life.

My HCG Pellets Process

Hi guys, so I am a HCG newbie Smile and I was looking over the forum and saw many posts and helpful hints. I started my process this past Saturday. I had a very bumpy start. For starters I didn't load properly. I felt so guilty eating continually throughout the day and didn't plan properly so I only at like 3,000 each day which needed to be like 4,000 or 5,000 per day from the research I've done. I also had stomach pain due to the fact I was eating fried foods and cheese which never fall good in my stomach! Needless to say I made it through and now on my 3rd day of Phase 2 - 500 calorie. Here are my stats: Day 1 - 261.5 Day 2 - 261.5 - as you can see I had no weight gain so definitely didn't eat enough Day 3 - 264.3 Day 4 - 265.7 Day 5 - 261.5 Day 6 - 259.0 6.7 lbs down from Day 4 - Day 6. Not bad. I look forward to future days & weeks to come. It has definitely not been easy. Mentally this process is so hard but I am so determined to lose weight. I have been plus size all my life and my motivation is having healthy body so I can have kids. I've been diagnosed with PCOS for 2.5 years now. I was very discouraged today. Just knowing I can't have what I want to eat makes me angry. Food has been such a strong hold in my life but I want to rid my life of that. On side note. I have been hungry each day and waiting to see if it will go away. I think it's normal hunger but not sure if the pellets are working good enough for me as I've heard that people taking injections feel NO hunger and have to remind themselves to eat lol. I am eating 500 - 575 calories a day. I usually eat an apple or strawberries in the morning because if I don't eat before 10am I am usually shaking. Lunch I've been having the 3.5 chicken, beef, or tilapia with salad, broccoli, or asparagus. I repeat the same for dinner. Next HCG round I definitely will do the injections. I have a work trip in July so I bought the pellets because I was so anxious to start. Anyway if you are a Pellet taker and have any suggestions or feedback I definitely would love to hear your process or tips! Wink thanks for listening.

Beef versus Pork.

I know the original protocol calls for lean beef, chicken, fish, etc. However, when I look at cuts of beef, even the clod steaks have rich marbled veins of fat running through them. The same size cuts of pork have NO visible fat! Researching the history of the meat industry in this nation, I know that about 60 years ago, customers were wanting leaner pork, and beef was not as richly marbled as it is now - you could get a lean steak. It might not be as tender as filet mignon, but it was beefsteak. Then came the "fat is bad, we want low fat food" movement, and farmers began breeding pork that was much leaner. Now, a 280 pound pork can trot around a ring in a 4H show, where the same piggy even a decade ago would be obese and unable to move so well. Because these new pigs are being bred for lean muscle. Granted, the same problem as with cheap beef, with less fat comes less flavor. But can't we use that to our advantage? I can get pork meat that is 96% lean without even searching, but finding 96% lean ground beef is a bit difficult, and finding beef steak that isn't marbled is nearly impossible. I can trim off the exterior fat, but the marbling is in the fibers. Because luxury. (Also, how cattle are fattened for market is an interesting read. Explains how Americans are fat even though they are eating "good fats"!) Dr. Simeon would have seen the fatty pork meat of HIS day, which is why he wouldn't allow it. But now, would he? Or is pork "sugary"? I'm tempted to add some cuts of pork and test my theory, since I can't eat shellfish and dislike most cuts of fish.
