Plateau

I have been on the diet now for 27 days of 40. I hit a plateau at 218 for 4 days, so I drank some senna tea (no sugar). The next day I had a bowel movement and I weighted 215. Well it has been 4 day now i'm stuck at 215 still. My weight is going up and down .2-.4. I have been strict on my diet, but sometimes I can't make 500 calories a day when having 2 fruits, 2 veggies, 2 proteins, 2 breads, which are Melba toast or small Alessi bread stick. I don't mix veggies with fruit, and I try to change up the type of protein, veggies, and fruit each day do there not the same day to day. What should my next move be? I am down 25 LBS!

Good Day Mike! You must make a minimum of 500 calories per day, shoot for 550 so that you are never below. The most important thing is to measure you food AND equate the calories per serving so that you get to 550 per day. Eating below 500 calories can cause muscle degradation and therefor slow down or in some cases cause weight gain. The other important factor is NOT to exercise. Lethargic lifestyles should walk 30 minutes per day, but active people should refrain from extra exercise. NOW, as per your plateau. Please follow the plateau breaker guidelines in our HCG Diet ebook. A green apple or steak day should jump start your weight loss immediately again. So if I was to eat just spinach daily would that be okay too?

A mini steak days helps if your ketones are low. When your body is using plrramiiy fat as energy, your ketoned excreted in your urine will be high. Doing a steak day, you aren't eating any carbs so it forces your body to burn fat. Ketones will generally be back high again the next morning if so your steak day was successful but there is not neccessarily going to be an immediate change in the scale, fat burning can take 2-3 days to show on the scale simeons says.
