HcG injections - 46 day with Supplement Bundle - my journey from Day 1 to Day 43

R1P2D1 - Today was my first injection of HcG. I received my package within 2 days (arrived on Friday 10/4). I used the weekend to read the material on mixing and giving the SubQ shots over and over again. Seemed a bit overwhelming at first, but once I decided to mix on Sunday afternoon, it all came together and was quite simple. The shot this morning was nothing! It was real easy and I felt NOTHING! I also bought the Supplement Bundle and began those as well. It is 6:03 pm here now and I am so stuffed, I don't think I can put another crumb down! I ate mostly natural fats and homemade pumpkin roll! Enjoyed some of my favorite foods and was totaling up my calories throughout the day. Right now, I am sitting at 3,357 calories, 1,247 calories burned. I have been tracking my calories for some time now, but like most my age, just can't seem to lose no matter what I do! The calories burned were not by any exercise by any means. Just daily "extra" stuff I got caught up doing. The energy level I have today is well beyond my normal. And, my normal is pretty high! I did weigh myself this morning. I know it really doesn't count, but I just wanted to make sure I am loading correctly. I weighed 182.4. I am planning to post daily on this thread to make a daily journey. Just for information...In 2008 I purchased the homeopathic drops and dropped 30 lbs. I have kept that off. However, with all the hype about HcG diet after that, I believe the homeopathic drops changed from then after several tries again with it and doing research after the several failures. I tried to do them again after a one year break and they didn't seem to work. The first initial week the weight fell of...then the hunger started and the weight dropping stopped. I thought it was just that I wasn't committed enough. But after another try later, same thing. This was my main decision to do the injections this time.

R1P2D2 - Day 2 of loading...UGH! I do not like the fully stuffed feeling but realize it is needed to be successful!! One more day of loading. I am enjoying my favorite foods and heavy cream in my coffee, at least for one more day. I am really surprised at the energy level I have! I feel great!!! Can't wait to start the VLCD and start shedding the pounds!!!

R1P2D3 - finally the last day of loading! I don't think I can eat any more! My weight on day 3 of loading was 184.2. Other than feeling so full and a bloating feeling, I am feeling fantastic! I am looking forward to dropping the weight! Couldn't post yesterday because the forums were down. R1P2D4 - first day of VLCD! Morning weigh in was 184.4 lbs. Now, time to drop this weight! I wasn't even hungry but I know I HAVE to eat! I had planned my meals out according to the items allowed and my calories come up short. I am going to supplement with snacks of tasty veggies! Everything is added to my calorie counter and I have 482 calories for the day. Going to mix things up with other vegetables tomorrow to add extra calories in my meals. My fruits I will start having a morning and mid-afternoon snack with those. Water is not an issue with me. I have my 1/2 gallon in by noon every day. I have a slight headache today - detox, I'm sure....but not bad enough to take something yet. I've been re-reading Dr. Simeon's manual just to re-familiarize myself to everything again. The support from NuMedical has been GREAT! I am really pleased so far...any questions I have had, they responded quickly, even when the forums were down. Wink

R1P2D5 - second day of VLCD! Going GREAT!!! Weigh in this morning was 181.8 (-2.6) Smile I have my meals in my calorie tracker and have the calorie target in range. Currently, I have 56 oz of water down and see no problem hitting the water target! I am not hungry throughout the day. Headache didn't appear today! Wink I have split my meals up to have my fruit mid-morning and mid-evening. During the evening of watching television, I load up on more water just so I don't want any mindless munchies! So far, so good!

R1P2D8 - weigh in 178.0 (-6.4) - this past weekend was a little rough eating on schedule, but I did stick to the protocol!!! Back to normal schedule today! It has been easier than I had expected to stay on protocol! I am actually making myself eat my meals...haven't really been hungry, but I know I need my calories. Planning my meals every morning helps tremendously...Keeps me on track! Not only am I losing pounds - my body shape is changing as well! It's great to see a difference already after only 8 days using the injections. My current jeans are loose already and totally looking forward to my size 8's that are just sitting in my closet waiting for me!

R1P2D9 - weigh in 176.4 (-8.0) - Tracking my daily meals so I decided to just post my progress every morning while I am planning my meals. I decided to read the HcG Diet Guide again. I recently bought some Melba Toast and realized I should not be eating a full serving. LOL! So from this point out, it will be only one Melba Toast, even though I made sure my calories were within range with a full serving of 3. Also, I stopped tracking my black coffee yesterday. Livestrong has it marked up as 5 calories per serving and the diet guide doesn't count black coffee as calories. This in turn gave me more calories in the foods I am to have on protocol, which is why, I believe, my weight loss yesterday was a bit more. I am feeling fantastic! Energy level is good, not too high fortunately. That is a plus for me because I am a constant mover and worker. If my energy level was any higher, I would be considered in a "workout" mode, which I do not want while on injections. I have passed the point where the homeopathic drops seemed to have stopped working for me previously...and my weight is below that 177.4 mark that I stopped using the drops! My meals are keeping me full and my mid-morning and mid-afternoon fruit keeps me from being hungry between meals. It's apple season so I was able to purchase apples from a local orchard now! They are so yummy!!! I have a few events planned throughout the week - really have to be on my toes! Today is a dinner night out with my husband and his boys...always a challenge when you eat out. My plan is to either have my chicken breast prepared w/o any fats used in preparation, if they will do that, and a side protocol vegetable the same. I am able to judge size I need for 3.5 oz from weighing my foods through the past few years. Baby shower this Saturday...challenge...and birthday party on Sunday for our son. But....with the success I have been having, it goes a very long way to keep yourself on protocol!!!
