Have noticed that a few others were keeping theirselves accountable by putting their HCG Journeys here so decided I would do that same. This one will be a bit longer then the others because I am playing catch up. Will start with my stats. I am 5'4" and started my weight loss journey at 209. I did a few short diets and got down to 193. Has been a lot of yoyo dieting. So I ordered the Pellets and decided to give HCG a try after doing a lot of research on it. I started with the pellets on August 12th. Day 1 and 2 were my loading days and I gained 1.6 lbs.
So my first vlcd I had the following: Breakfast (1/2 grapefruit with stevia and some coffee) Lunch (3.5 oz 96% lean hamburger, handful of strawberries and a cup of tomatoes) Dinner (3.5 oz shrimp and a cup of cucumbers. also had to take Excedrin for a headache.
vlcd 2 weighed and was down to 190.2, down 4.4 lbs which includes the 1.6 I gained from loading. Breakfast (1/2 grapefruit w/stevia and coffee) mid morning I had a orange slushy from the recipes, Lunch (3.5 chicken, 1 cup broccoli, 1 melba toast) Dinner (3.5 oz top round steak, 1 cup tomatoes)
vlcd 3 weight was 188 lbs so lost another 2.2 lbs for a total of 6.6 Breakfast (1/2 grapefruit w/stevia coffee) lunch (3.5 oz 96% lean hamburger which I mixed with 1 cup diced tomatoes abd chili powder and some other spices) snack (apple w/cinnamon and stevia) Dinner (3.5 oz tilapia w/ bay seasoning, I cup cooked cabbage which I cooked with a little chicken broth and sale and pepper, 1 melba toast, again also took Excedrin for my headache
vlcd 4 weight was 186.4 so lost 1.6 for a total of 8.2 Breakfast (1/2 grapefruit w/stevia and rooibos tea) lunch (1 cup lettuce 3.5 oz 96% lean hamburger mixed with salt and pepper and onion powder, for lettuce wraps) Snack (apple w/cinnamon and stevia) Dinner (3.5 oz chicken, I cup of cooked cabbage, had a tiny bit of mustard with the chicken
vlcd 5 weight was 185.4 so lost 1 lb for a total of 9.2 Breakfast (1/2 grapefruit w/stevia and water) Lunch ( tilapia w/bay seasoning, 1 cup cooked cabbage)
snack (apple w/cinnamon and stevia)
So that catches me up, I have been having between 2 and 2 1/2 liters of water everyday. I did use a very very small amount of sugar free ketchup on my fish.
So 9.2 lbs in 5 days of vlcd, I am pretty happy with that. Now as for how I have felt. Have had headaches and still am a bit, pretty tired. even had a little upset stomach, not sure where that is coming from. But over all has went fine, and I am hoping that once I have gotten thru the first week things will calm down some and the headaches will ease off. I have tried drinking some tea and some coffee. the biggest problem I have with the coffee is I hate black coffee and the stevia doesn't sweeten enough and when I add too much it has this yucky aftertaste so still trying to figure that one out.
Anyway will try and post here daily to keep myself accountable and I also know reading some others journeys has really motivated me so if this help anyone at all I will be very happy. Have a awesome day everyone
