Accountability Partners

Hi All. I am looking for people who want to encourage each other and stay accountable. This is not something I want to discuss with friends and family. To me that means checking in regularly and cheering each other on. I will be starting loading P1 on Wed., Jan 14. I will post all my stats at that time. Anyone interested? Cool

Good Day All. Well, no takers so far. I am going to attempt to continue to journal my journey as a help to others. What I have read and watched thus far had been a great deal of encouragement to me and I hope to do the same for you. My starting weight on 1/14/15 was 125.2. After two days of loading on mainly fatty foods (hamburger and fries, cheesecake, heavy cream + whipped cream in my coffee, cheese, etc) today 1/16/15 I weigh 156.8, a gain of 3.6 lb. I considered doing a third loading day, as some recommend, however, I woke up full and completely uninterested in food. This tells me I accomplished the loading goal.. It is still early, I may still reconsider. This already feels very intimidating to me. I already see there is fear and emotion I need to deal with regarding food. I so want to make this a long term answer instead of a short term fix. Come and join me. Together we will be victorious! 6

Back with an update. I decided to do a third load day after calling the very nice people at Nu Image. If i am going to follow this as near to 100% compliant as possile, I figured it best to take the advice of the experts. After the third load day the whole 500 calorie thing seemed much less intimidating. My total gain after three days of loading was 4.6 lb. I lost that much exactly on VLCD1. Starting weight 153.2 (excuse the typo last post....I wish) VLCD1 - 157.8 Gain of 4.6 (after 3 day load) VLCD2 - 153.2. Back to starting weight after only one day. Now that is amazing! I had a very good day. Some hunger, but nothing I couldn't handle. Prepared turkey breast burgers, lead grass fed beef burgers and green beans with my Nuwave oven. The thing I like about the diet is that it is super simple. It's hard to complicate 500 calories. The other thing I enjoy is getting up to weigh in the morning. I keep a journal near my scale because even simple math is hard when you first wake up. There is something inside of me that makes me feel so ready to succeed with this protocol. At age 57, my health seems more important to me than ever. Let me know if you have joined me in the journey. Blessings and Success, Cate

Hi Cate, I will be receiving my HCG this week. I like being accountable. I'll join you on this journey. A few days ago, I weighed 150. I will weight again the 1st day of loading. I would like to lose 15-20 on this round. I'm 5'4" and 60 years old. Without all of the drama and ailments leading up to my highest weight in my life, I'm ready to get it off!

Welcome suldrick. Thanks for joining me. I was starting to get lonely in here. After trying over and over to lose weight permanently, I feel more determined than I ever have. Determination is surely a huge part of success in this protocol. Congratulations on your decision to take care of you. I am not that much of a computer gal (the age, you know), but I will attempt to post frequently, be honest and encourage all who join us. Thus far, I am very pleased with the results of this protocol. I have opted not to eat the bread products for two reasons. 1. they are evil...once I start eating them I cannot stop! I know I have an issue with insulin resistance and decided, why risk it. 2. It has been suggested to me that I should try the no gluten thing. Seems like the best time to be consistent with that. Here are my results since last post. VLCD3 151.4 loss of 1.8 lb VLCD4 149.6 loss of 1,8 lb. Yay!!!140's. Haven't seen that in ages VLCD5 149,0 Loss of .6 lb VLCD6 148.0 loss of 1.0 lb TOTAL NET LOSS (not counting the load weight) of 5.2 lb!! I need to figure out how to use one of those weight loss tickers...love seeing the numbers go down. All in all, I feel good. A little hungry at times. A little weak at times. I phoned Nu Image yesterday to ask if should up my dose of HcG. I am on injections. They told me they recommend 200 units. I had only been using 150 units. oops My husband and I are in ministry and looking forward to a much needed vacation. Looking forward to feeling better in a bathing suit next month. I will need a second round to get where I need to be... and I'm ok with that . Will enjoy the break. Again, thank for joining me. Blessings and much success!

It has beena a few days since my last post. Who wants to post with a gain, right? Yes, I had my first tall with a slight gain, but thanks to previously read blogs and forums, it did not discourage me. That is why I am taking the time to check in. I know this will help someone as I have been helped. So..... VLCD7 -148.0 No loss/no gain VLCD8 - 148.4 - Gain of 0.4 VLCD9 - 146.2 - loss 2.2 (net loss 1.8 due to previous gain) Total Weight Loss 7 lb Since increasing my dose to 200 mg injection, I am less hungry and less "weak" . I notice a change in my body shape. My appearance seems as if I have lost more than 7 lb. i am starting to understand the benefit of the HcG targeting unhealthy/abnormal fat. The only "cheat" I justify is a Chiclet size piece of xylatol gum. It is more important to me not to lose my friends over bad breath than it is to lose weight more quickly. Other than that, It has not been difficult to stay on protocol. Sure, I'm a little hungry sometimes, like when I smell popcorn cooking...ugg! The upcoming trip to Antigua is a sure motivator. I have decided to do the shorter round and do another round after a muscle building break to get to my desired goal. I am very grateful to feel more comfortable in my skin. This really works! My brain is clearer, I am more joyful and pleasant to be around....even on just 500 calories a day. If I can do this, so can you. Blessings and Success. Cate

Hi Cate, Just checking into the forum. I mostly facebook in closed hcg groups. Today is vlcd 8 for me and I've lost 7 lbs. I had a couple of -.2 days in a row. I'm now at 143.4. Hoping to hit the 130's before the end of this round. Guess I need to take a few measurements, too. So glad that you're doing well with you dose. I started at 125 iu and have upped it to 130 iu. Strange thing that I sometimes get the "growlies" about an hour after I eat. I think I read something about this. That is the blog where I found this company. She recently toured several facilities and will be blogging about it soon. Your trip sounds amazing! I'm sure you'll feel comfy in that swimsuit by then. Many blessings to you and success on your continuing journey!!

Just typed a long post that didn't get saved because I hadn't logged in. Ugg! Anyway, took a cross country trip with food and HCG in tow. Lost only 1 lb on the trip, but 1.4 lb the following day when jet lag wore off. VLCD19 142.6. YAY! 10.7lb of fat gone. Hang in there. It's worth it. Blessings. Sorry for the shortened version. Computers... not my thing. Blessings and congratulations suldrick. Keep up the good word

Hi Cate, I started reading your post before ordering HCG. I've done the HCG about 5 years ago but there was no follow-up program so I quickly gained back the weight. I need to loose 45 pounds. This peri-menopause time of my life has taken a downward turn on my weight. I went back to school for 3 years and graduated in May. During that 3 years I gained about 30 pounds so drasticly need to get it off. I have a formal dinner to attend in one month and need lots or prayer and support to stick with the program to look my best at this time in my life. What type of ministry are you in? I've done Christian missions in the past in Haiti and Hondurous. Thanks for listening. I will take any suggestions you have to complete the program successfully including shampoos, etc. Thanks Donna
