Current studies lead researchers to believe that BPC-157 jumpstarts production of growth hormones, increases blood vessel productions, modulates the synthesis of nitric oxide and has a positive impact on collagen production and bone proteins. With the TB-500 chains, the bodily affects cellular regeneration and migration, blocks inflammation from cytokines and chemokines, and binds to actin.

The Positive Effects

There have been several studies that looked at the positive effects of these peptide compounds, and both substances had favorable results. With BPC-157, the primary effect was the ability to increase the production of blood vessels, as it affected the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor 2. The resulting effect, or the increase in angiogenesis, displayed faster-wound healing, tissue regeneration, and improved bone and improved tendon repair. It also showed an ability to shorten recovery times for damaged tendons, but current studies are looking into how it will impact the liver, heart, pancreas, and brain neurons. The research community is hopeful about the positive effect BCP-157 will have on treating depression, anxiety, Parkinson’s, IBS, and multiple sclerosis.  As for TB-500, the benefits of this peptide are the ability to form and regenerate new tissue and enhance wound healing. Cellular migration and re-epithelialization, necessary for wound healing or tissue repair, are also attributed to this peptide’s work in the body. Early research results show that TB-500 may be able to slow or prevent cell death in the heart and the hippocampal region of the brain.
