How important is Phase 3 of the HCG diet?

Is phase 3 really that important? Many might think once the weight is off they can go back to their normal routine and their new and improve metabolism will do the work. This is the mindset you should not have.

Phase 3 is by far the most important phase of the diet. This segment of the HCG diet is considered the stabilizing phase. It begins 3 days after your last injection and lasts 3 weeks. Only very low amounts of sugar are allowed, however, for better result just try to stay away from it. You will increase your protein intake to about 6 ounces per serving. You can start adding other fish and meats you may like. Still keep an eye for fatty proteins and try to avoid them.

This phase helps stabilize your new metabolic rate. If you do not follow it, most likely you will end up where you started. During this phase you should maintain your weight within 2 lbs or below from your weight at the end of phase two of the HCG diet plan.
