We can sometimes predict success based on how much you gorge during the first two days of the hcg diet. There is a widespread misconception that gorging is not THAT important.
We encourage gorging just as much as we encourage sticking to the 500 calories a day. These two days can sometimes be the difference between succeeding and failing while on the hcg diet. By consuming an unusual amount of fatty/high calorie foods during the first two days, we are providing our body with the necessary calories as we kick start our very low calorie diet on the third day. These two days, while fun, should be taking seriously. It is important to take in as many calories as your physician suggests
Preventing Hunger at The Beginning
There is one common thread woven into every case of severe hunger during the first few days of the hcg diet, and that is: Not enough calories consumed during the first two days (the gorging days)! Whenever we get that rare call from a patient stating that he or she is too hungry during the first few days of the diet, we can pin point it to one thing: No gorging! Please understand that by gorging we are giving our bodies the calories and immediate fat needed to transition as we move towards our 500 calorie diet. If you're serious about getting the best results possible, please gorge during the first two days! It has been proven to work for over 50 years.
Don't be afraid!
The factor that keeps some patients from properly gorging during the first two days after they get their HCG order is fear. Some believe that by consuming a high amount of fat for two days will only hinder their success. The gorging days are not meant to be some sort of going away party, or a cheap trick to give you the illusion that you've lost a lot of weight once you're done with our hcg diet plan. This is a legitimate part of the original hcg diet protocol, please follow it, and give yourself the opportunity to get the most out of this diet.
